I experience the north with Neubauer-Reisen
I’m already on the road again; Scandinavia just won’t let me go! Today we started our day very early. My two bus drivers and I left Flensburg on time – just before six in the morning – and then collected the first passengers in Büdelsdorf at 6:45. At the second stop – in Kiel – the remaining guests boarded our bus at 7:15 am. Around 11 hours and 650 km later, we had completed the first stage of this long journey and arrived in Jönköping. We had traveled from Puttgarden to Rödby and from Helsingör to Helsingborg by ferry, making stops along the way. Some of us had already bought our first souvenirs and we were tired after dinner, so the majority of the group went straight to bed. We were not only physically tired, but also mentally tired, as we had already heard so much information: Why are LEGO and Carlsberg called what they are, where is Denmark’s oldest house and how many women have sat on the Danish throne? Once we arrived in Sweden, we learned about the vegetation and tried to spot moose, and perhaps one or two of us managed to do so in Älgpark Laganland.
