Anyone who has ever been in one of the beautiful stairwells in the Kontorhaus district (Sprinkenhof, Chilehaus, Meßberghaus) or on Steinhöft and Deichstraße (Sloman-Haus, Stella-Haus, Columbia-Haus) has probably noticed this. Even the paternosters still work in some of these beautiful contemporary witnesses from the late 19th or early 20th century. I had a little look around for you. Enjoy the photos!
