Experience the north with Neubauer Reisen
This morning we set off from our small ski hotel by the lake and headed down towards Lillehammer. The program included either Lillehammer city centre or the extensive Maihaugen open-air museum. Each guest spent their free time in the city center individually: enjoying the sun in the park, drinking a coffee in one of the cute wood-paneled cafés on the Storgata or taking photos in the inner courtyards. In the museum in Maihaugen, a lively and informative guided tour awaited the guests and we were able to gain an insight into the world of the 14th – 18th centuries. We were then able to explore the other buildings on our own, eat an ice cream or look for souvenirs. The way to our last stop on this trip was accompanied by information about the towns we passed through or the lakes we crossed. The weather was also kind to us on this last day in Norway, so we were able to enjoy the impressive landscape to the full for one last time before returning to concrete-clad reality shortly before Oslo. We spent our last evening at a sumptuous buffet and perhaps individually on Sandefjord’s beach promenade.
