I experience the north with Neubauer Reisen
This morning we left Jönköping on time for the journey to Stockholm. Passing through Gränna and past numerous Polkagrisar confectioneries, we looked at Lake Vättern, the second largest lake in Sweden, and the island of Visingsö. We saw the Brahehus, which – if it wasn’t just a ruin now – would have a wonderful view. We took a short break in Vadstena and enjoyed one of the best-preserved Vasa castles. After a short lunch break, we went on a city tour with Mathias Denk, who gave us a humorous introduction to Sweden’s capital and its inhabitants. After some free time, we made our way to the ferry port, where we boarded the M/S Amorella to take the Viking Line to Turku. In the evening, we were able to enjoy plenty of food and drinks at the buffet before the evening was free for everyone to enjoy individually. We then marveled at the Stockholm archipelago or attended one of the performances on the ship, strolled through the stores again or gambled away our last Swedish crowns at the slot machines.
